A series of the most outrageous things Wits students would do to raise money for waived fees.

Financially disadvantaged students at the University of the Witwatersrand were given the option to waiver their initial registration fees, provided they would pay the amount by the 31st of March 2016.

The option to delay payment was due to the fact that some students had not received feedback from their bursars and needed more time to find alternative sources for funds.  With the deadline fast approaching, Wits Vuvuzela asked some Witsies what outrageous things they would do to raise the registration fee of R9 340. You’d be surprised by some of the responses, even we were!
